Today Be Your Own Pet announced that their current Uk Tour will be their last. I gotta say I didn’t really see that coming. Everything I’ve seen and heard concerning these guys has made them seem like a pretty cohesive unit with a friends first, band second mentality. After the fact though it seems pretty unsurprising what with all the touring (I doubt I could go on one roadtrip for even half of one tour even if it was with best friends) and the side projects. To all of our fans,
We are sad to bring you the news that our upcoming shows in the UK (dates below) are going to be our last as a band. We thank you for all your love and support these past few years – its been a blast but the time has come for the 4 of us to go our separate ways.
