Omar Rodriguez Lopez Is Sneaky, Old Money Stealth Release

TV ON The Radio Sweeten The Deal, Preview Golden Age & Dancing Choose

August 26, 2008

I love when industry emphasis on opening numbers pays off for the rest of us. As we crawl towards Dear Science’s September 23rd release date the big whigs are probably wondering how they can get those numbers up and make it look like a success, because as we all know winners only buy things that are already established as winners in their own right. “How! Oh how can we dam the stream of illegal downloads?” they murmur through their night terrors.

The answer of course is by offering tiny perks that appeal to and distinguish early adopters from their boring and practical brethren, in this case a limited edition lithograph poster designed by none other than TVOTR’s own Tunde Adebimpe. If you pre-order the album through Insound you get one of these bad boys.
